2. Why are you launching this product in Kenya at this time?
The Kenyan market show huge potential for the eZee software. The competing products are complicated and very expensive by comparison. eZee will not cost you an arm and a leg and you don’t need an accounting degree to navigate around the user interface. We want to bring a product to Kenya, that the people will understand and not need to spend hundreds of dollars to still have to get a specialized person to operate the software.
3. What is the product’s success rate?
eZee Business Management Software is used by thousands of companies in South-Africa. Some of these companies were with our leading competitors, but after seeing a demonstration of how much simpler eZee is, they moved to us. We have the utmost confidence in this product and recommend it to all small and medium enterprises. There is not one company I know of that has been unhappy with eZee’s functionality, user interface or price.
4. Who else in Africa is using this product?
eZee was created for the South-African market originally, because competing products were so expensive and required specialized skills to effectively interact with. The product has been doing extremely well and the natural next step in growth will be to bring the product to similar markets. Our initial launch is in Kenya, after which we will be taking the product into other African countries such as Nigeria and Tanzania

6. What aftersales support do you provide for end users?
eZee offers email, telephonic and remote desktop support. Due to the current eZee demographic, end users in Kenya’s preferred method of interaction will most likely be email or remote desktop assistance. eZee accounting software comes with step by step “help” features on every screen, so there is a minimal need for users to contact customer care at all.
7. Is there a money back guarantee?
eZee Business Management Software does not currently offer a money back guarantee. Even if we did offer a money back guarantee, I very much doubt anyone will take up the money back offer. Our product is one of the most effective on the market, couple that with the ease of use and the already low cost of the product; we feel that the product is worth keeping, no matter what your business plan is.
8. What elements need to be in place before the software is implemented?
eZee Business Management Software is self-sustainable. You do not require any other software on your computer to run eZee. eZee will install with additional required software such as a pdf reader and a pdf writer to create reports, inventory stocklists, statements, invoices, quotes and so much more. The software will even email your statements for you without the requirement of any other software installed on your computer
9. What is Dataguard’s roll out plan for this product?
Dataguard plans to have EZee as the number one accounting option for anyone who thinks accounting. Shorter plan is to partner with institutions so that we may have it as a supplement curriculum for graduates. Perhaps we may have to have an Ezee learning centre where we equip business owners on how to have their basic accounts and plan their business.
